First Impressions & Initial Challenges

The first day brought a mix of emotions—I was both excited and nervous. A new workplace, an entirely new set of people, and the weight of stepping into my first official job filled my mind with questions. Would everyone be welcoming? How quickly would I adapt? Despite the initial nerves, I was eager to embrace this experience.

To my relief, the staff and students at Sacred Heart School were incredibly welcoming. As a fresher, I had always heard that new employees take time to adjust, and being one of the youngest members in the workplace added a layer of intimidation. However, my colleagues made an effort to include me in conversations and breaks, which helped me feel comfortable and valued.

The initial days were more about observation and understanding. I wasn’t immediately assigned difficult tasks, allowing me time to absorb the workflow. Gradually, I was given responsibilities, and while I did face some challenges, I was fortunate to have supportive colleagues who guided me whenever needed.
