Dorm Guardian (Senior Girls)
Ms. Nataline Gomes, from Kolkata, has been a Dormitory Guardian for senior girls at Sacred Heart School since 2018. She finds great fulfillment in her role, which allows her to provide the same care and understanding that a mother would give her children. Her dedication to the well-being and development of her students brings her immense joy and satisfaction.
Mr. Jai Prakash Hembrom
Dorm Guardian and Assistant Teacher (History)
Mr. Jai Prakash Hembrom has been a dedicated Dormitory Guardian and history teacher at Sacred Heart School for nine years, focusing on overseeing senior ISC students. His empathetic approach transforms challenges into opportunities, making his role both rewarding and impactful. Mr. Hembrom has undergone counseling training to better support his students and actively participates in the International Award for Young People (IAYP) program to help them develop valuable skills.
In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Hembrom is committed to teaching swimming, aiming to instill a lasting passion for the sport while fostering discipline, teamwork, and personal growth.
Ms. Binita Minj
Junior School Nurse
Ms. Binita Minj has been serving as the School Nurse at Sacred Heart School, Siliguri, since 2019. Her responsibilities include providing first aid, ensuring students' overall health care, and being vigilant for any health emergencies. Ms. Minj has been able to enhance both her personal and professional skills here at SHS.
Mr. Ralston Hurley
Senior Dorm Guardian
Mr. Ralston Hurley is one of the longest-serving faculty members at Sacred Heart School, having been a Senior Dormitory Guardian since 2004. Over his 20-year tenure, he has dedicated himself to instilling strong moral values and fostering responsibility in his students. Mr. Hurley is passionate about seeing both current and former students succeed in their chosen paths and takes pride in their achievements. He extends his best wishes, love, and prayers to all his students, both past and present.
Ms. Rosa Rai
Dormitory Guardian
Ms. Rosa Rai has been a dedicated Dormitory Guardian at Sacred Heart School for 10 years. She holds a BA degree and has completed specialized educator training along with a basic counseling course. Ms. Rai regularly attends seminars and workshops to continually improve her skills in supporting and mentoring young girls. In her role as a pastoral parent, she ensures the physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and emotional well-being of the girls under her care, fostering their growth into confident, self-disciplined, and independent individuals.
Ms. Sanjita Roka
Dorm Guardian (Middle School Boys)
Ms. Sanjita Roka has been a dedicated Dormitory Guardian at Sacred Heart School for 12 years and is an active member of the Pastoral Team. Her responsibilities include caring for middle school boys and ensuring their well-being. In addition to her role as a Dormitory Guardian, Ms. Roka also co-teaches, focusing on imparting moral values and social etiquette. She finds her work with students to be highly rewarding and fulfilling.
Ms. Sushila Tirkey
Senior School Nurse
Ms. Sushila Tirkey has been serving as the School Nurse at Sacred Heart School for 13 years and is an active member of the pastoral team. Her role involves providing comprehensive healthcare to students with both acute and chronic conditions, administering first aid for a range of medical situations, and offering support to students and parents during stressful times. Ms. Tirkey also oversees the emotional, mental, physical, and social well-being of students and maintains detailed records of their visits. Her dedication ensures that students receive the care and support they need to thrive.

Ms. Shawana Campos, from Dhanbad, is currently working as a Dormitory Guardian at Sacred Heart School, Siliguri. She is committed to embracing new challenges in her role, driven by a belief in herself and her dedication to hard work. Her long-term goal is to become renowned in her profession, continuously striving for fulfillment and excellence in everything she undertakes.
Mr. Surendra Rai
Dorm Guardian (Senior Boys) and Social Studies Teacher
Mr. Surendra Rai joined Sacred Heart School in March of this year. He is responsible for the welfare of senior boys and teaches Social Studies to middle school students. Before joining SHS, he worked as a Training Manager in a multinational company. Mr. Rai has a passion for sports and music, which he enjoys alongside his professional duties.
Ms. Alka Thapa
Dorm Guardian (Junior Boys)
Ms. Alka Thapa, from Kurseong, serves as the Dormitory Guardian for junior boys in classes 1 to 4 at Sacred Heart School. She is dedicated to helping her students develop into well-balanced and wholesome individuals. Ms. Thapa finds great joy in working with the boys and values the learning experiences they bring. Her role is both fulfilling and enriching, as she supports the growth and development of the boys.
Mr. Razzak Hossain
Librarian
Mr. Razzak Hossain has been with Sacred Heart School for three years, serving as the librarian and also a dormitory guardian. The well-furnished school library, managed by Mr. Hossain, offers a wide range of subjects and the latest books for students and staff. Books are issued via library cards, and library periods are scheduled for all classes. Mr. Hossain takes great pride in contributing to an institution with a stellar reputation for academic excellence.

Ms. Gomes finds working with children deeply fulfilling and uplifting, even on challenging days. She teaches value education and has completed a year of counseling training with Solony Priya and Deepika Tarafder. Anku Bakshi currently serves as a Dormitory Guardian for the Senior Section at Sacred Heart School and teaches History to Middle School students. With over 10 years of experience in residential schools, including a 5-year tenure as Head of Boarding in a school in Maharashtra, he is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of his students. Mr. Bakshi finds great joy in working with the children under his care and continues to be deeply committed to their development and well-being.
