Students celebrated Raksha Bandhan by visiting members of the armed forces and police personnel at different locations in and around Siliguri.
The visits gave the students an opportunity to celebrate the festival while expressing their gratitude and appreciation to the armed forces and police personnel for their service.
Students from the Primary Wing visited the Gorkha Battalion and Police Commissionerate Office at Darjeeling More. They presented a small programme that included a few speeches and a dance performance.
Students from Classes VI and VII visited the Shiv Mandir Police Station and Matigara Police Station to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with the police personnel.
Students from Classes VIII and IX visited the Traffic Police at Shiv Mandir, Balasan and City Centre. The students tied rakhis and spent time with the personnel as part of the celebration.
