Ms. Purnima Gurung has been at Sacred Heart School since 2018, where she efficiently manages the reception and serves as the key point of communication with parents. Armed with a degree in Political Science and over 12 years of professional experience, she is recognized for her dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of her role, Ms. Gurung enjoys quiet quality time with her family and has a passion for gardening.
Mr. Suren Thapa
Accounts Manager
Mr Thapa joined the school back from its Kurseong days in 2008 and has been an integral part of the Accounts team. He used to be an office assistant but has learnt additional skills over the years and is key to managing and making the office a success. He is also happy to talk to the parents and students who might need any help.
Mr. Raymond Shepherd
School Secretary
Mr. Raymond Shepherd has served as Secretary at Sacred Heart School since 2002, accumulating 23 years of experience. Before joining the school, he worked for Bajaj Electricals Limited as a Senior Sales Officer for 5 years and spent 10 years at Tega India Ltd., where he held various positions, including Branch Engineer.
Throughout his time at Sacred Heart, Mr. Shepherd has valued the supportive, family-like environment and the opportunity to grow alongside his colleagues. He credits the school's success to the collective hard work of everyone involved and wishes Sacred Heart continued success in the future.

For the past 14 years, Mr. Hylton Craig Upshon has served as the IT Administrator at Sacred Heart School. Alongside his expertise in technology, he is a passionate writer who explores a wide range of topics. His interests bridge both innovation in tech and creativity.
Mr. Bobin Rai

Mr. Bobin Rai has been with Sacred Heart School since its founding in 1997 in Kurseong, making him one of the school’s first staff members. Over his 20 years of service, he has taken on various roles and thrived in each. He is also the person who gives new members and visitors a tour of the school and knows it thoroughly. His long tenure is filled with cherished memories, and he looks forward to creating many more in the years to come.

Ms. Sandhya Pradhan has been serving as an Accounts Assistant at Sacred Heart School since 2019. In her role, she specializes in accounting and ledger maintenance. A motivated and results-driven professional, Ms. Pradhan is always eager to embrace new challenges and continuously expand her expertise in the field.

Housekeeping Supervisor and Girls’ Swimming Instructor
Ms. Rajani Das has been a valued member of Sacred Heart School since 2005, with a total of 19 years of job experience. She has served as the Housekeeping Supervisor since her arrival and took on the role of Girls' Swimming Instructor in 2015. Her dedication to maintaining a well-organized environment and her commitment to teaching swimming reflect her extensive experience and passion for her roles.

Catering Manager
Mr. Matthew Joseph Gomes, originally from Kolkata, joined Sacred Heart School in 2017. He discovered his passion for providing nutritious, healthy, and tasty meals while ensuring that every child's needs are met. Dedicated to teaching dining etiquette, he enjoys cooking and entertaining, which are his true passions. It was during a visit to Sacred Heart School in Kurseong, where his brother works, that he met his wife, adding a special connection to the school community.
Mr. Richard Gomes
Nutrition & Purchasing Coordinator
With 19 years of experience in catering management, Mr. Richard Gomes oversees hygiene standards and ensures efficient staff management at Sacred Heart School. He also manages the school’s purchasing needs and enjoys instructing junior boys in swimming. His ability to motivate teams and maintain high standards under pressure has made him an invaluable asset to the school.
Mr. Ashish Lepcha
Office Assistant
Ashish is a Siliguri boy who has worked in various roles, from assisting in a CA’s office to now in a school’s office. He makes sure the school transport systems are working smoothly and arrive in places on time. He also coordinates the photography and videography teams of the school for shoots and events and is always around for a helping hand. He loves playing the guitar and watching movies in his free time.
