A proud moment for our boys as they represented the North Bengal and North-East Region at the CISCE National Volleyball Championship, held on 22nd and 23rd September at St. Jude’s Public School, Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu.
🏆 U-19 | National Champions
Ansh Kumar (Jersey No. 13) and Arzu Roy (Jersey No. 15) were part of the U-19 team that emerged as CISCE National Champions. It included 9 students from St. Joseph’s North Point, Darjeeling and 1 from St. Augustine’s. The team defeated Karnataka, North West Region and Uttar Pradesh before overcoming defending champions Bihar and Jharkhand in a closely contested semi-final. Ansh played with the team right through to the final, where they defeated hosts Tamil Nadu to lift the national title!
🏐 U-14 | Seven Players on the National Stage
Aditya Ranjan, Lucky, Pratham Kumar, Abdul Wahid, Rishabh Raj, Shivanshu Pratap Singh and Faizullah represented the region at the national championship. Adding to our pride, Aditya Ranjan has been selected for the CISCE National Team for the SGFI National School Games!
🏐 U-17 | Taking Sacred Heart to the National Stage
Nanda Gopal Saha represented our school in the U-17 category, completing our representation across all three age groups.
