During the session, Mr. Bhagat shared his personal story of becoming a Chartered Accountant. He revealed how, at first, he never planned to pursue this profession. A seminar during his college days, however, changed his outlook and ignited the ambition to take up Chartered Accountancy.
He spoke about the challenges he faced while preparing for the examinations. Determined to achieve a rank, he gave his first attempt with great enthusiasm. Out of two papers, he cleared one but fell short in the other. Instead of feeling disheartened, he chose perseverance. He prepared again, appeared for the exams, and successfully cleared them, proving that resilience is often the key to success.
His story was made even more relatable when he shared how his friends, who once did not want to pursue CA either, eventually became Chartered Accountants alongside him. His words emphasized the value of resilience, community, and embracing unforeseen opportunities along one’s career journey.

Mr. Bhagat went beyond personal experiences to give students a detailed understanding of the CA program. He explained the different entry routes, whether directly after Class 12 or after undergraduate studies, and elaborated on the importance of articleship training, which provides practical exposure to the profession.
He discussed the subject combinations, exam patterns, and placement opportunities available after completing the course, offering students a clear roadmap of what to expect. His ability to simplify complex structures into student-friendly insights helped learners grasp the process with confidence.
