At Sacred Heart School, students are encouraged to grow beyond academics through experiences that build discipline, confidence, leadership, and resilience. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) continues to play an important role in shaping young individuals by providing opportunities that challenge students both mentally and physically while nurturing responsibility and teamwork.
Recently, eight students from the school participated in a ten-day NCC camp alongside cadets from several other institutions. The camp offered intensive training sessions, drills, leadership exercises, and team-based activities designed to strengthen discipline, endurance, and unity among the participants. Through these experiences, students gained valuable exposure to the spirit of service, cooperation, and commitment that lies at the heart of NCC training.
The camp also became a proud moment for the institution as students earned recognition for their dedication and performance.
Among the participants, Ajinkya Choudhary achieved a significant milestone by being selected for TSC (Firing) and proceeding to Namchi for the next round. His achievement reflects exceptional focus, determination, and skill, bringing pride to the school and inspiring fellow cadets.
Adding to the school’s accomplishments, Mukul Jaiswal was nominated as the Junior Division (JD) Company Senior among the four participating companies — Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta. His nomination stands as a reflection of his leadership qualities, discipline, and ability to guide and motivate fellow cadets throughout the camp.
Participation in NCC activities provides students with far more than training alone. It instills confidence, strengthens character, encourages leadership, and teaches the importance of teamwork and perseverance. Such experiences help students develop qualities that remain valuable throughout their academic journey and future careers.
