Volleyball has been one of the highlights of the sporting calendar this season, with students delivering impressive performances across CISCE competitions and creating several memorable moments on the court.

The CISCE Zonal Volleyball Tournament 2026 for the NER-G Zone brought together teams from various schools for two days of exciting matches hosted on campus. The tournament witnessed competitive contests, remarkable teamwork, and a strong display of sportsmanship from all participating teams.

The U 17 and U 19 boys’ teams enjoyed an exceptional run throughout the tournament. The U 17 team secured a straight sets victory against Sunshine School in the finals, while the U 19 team remained unbeaten throughout the competition. Their consistent performances and determination on court earned both teams qualification for the Regional Volleyball Tournament.

The girls’ teams also put up a commendable performance at the CISCE Volleyball Tournament hosted by Mahbert High School. Competing against strong opposition, both the U 17 and U 19 teams progressed to the finals after a series of impressive matches.

The U 17 team faced Don Bosco School in the final, while the U 19 team took on Mahbert High School. Both matches were closely contested and remained neck and neck until the final stages. The deciding moments came down to just a few points, making for thrilling encounters that kept players and spectators engaged until the very end.

Although both teams finished as First Runners-Up, their performances reflected grit, resilience, and a strong fighting spirit. Reaching the finals in both categories and competing so closely against quality opposition was an achievement that spoke volumes about their preparation and commitment.

Behind every successful season are countless hours of practice, teamwork, and perseverance. The performances of all four teams reflected the effort put in throughout the year, both during training sessions and in competition.

A special mention goes to Coach Mr. Subir Brahmacharya for his continued guidance, encouragement, and dedication to the volleyball teams. His support has played an important role in helping the students grow both as players and as a team.

From hard-fought victories to closely contested finals, the season was filled with moments that highlighted the spirit of the game. More importantly, it provided students with valuable experiences, lessons in teamwork, and memories that will stay with them long after the final whistle.
