In the serene hills of Kurseong, 1997 marked the quiet beginning of a dream-  the foundation of Sacred Heart School. What began as a modest initiative has evolved into one of North Bengal’s most respected ICSE and ISC residential schools. Sacred Heart School today is a vibrant, future-forward learning community rooted in strong values and holistic education.

The relocation from Kurseong to Siliguri in 2011 was a turning point. With this move came greater possibilities, modern infrastructure, and a renewed commitment to offering quality boarding education. The school’s new campus in Siliguri began with silent halls and open skies waiting to be filled with the voices, footsteps, and imaginations of children.

From those early days to today, Sacred Heart School has witnessed remarkable growth. The transition from chalk-stained boards to hybrid classrooms reflects our embrace of innovation. The playground, once simple and modest, is now home to joyful landmarks like our elephant slide and giraffe statue symbols of happy childhoods.

As a fully residential ICSE and ISC school, Sacred Heart now features a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a dedicated girls’ wing, a primary block for early learners, and two acoustically designed auditoriums. Our Conference and Research Centre fosters critical thinking and collaboration, offering students a space to express, question, and innovate.
